Nestled in the Appalachian Mountains of Buchanan County Virginia, KET Incorporated opened its doors and began operations in 1984. The rural areas of Southwest Virginia were notorious in the coal mining industry, however this was a time when hard work and thrift were needed to survive and succeed. Local and regional coal producers demonstrated a need for replacement parts to aid in the development, manufacturing, distribution, and repair service of underground mining machinery for the extraction of coal and other bedded materials. Determined to provide excellent customer service and quality parts, KET Incorporated won the favor of nearby businesses by providing replacement mining products for S&S, Joy, Galis, Lee Noris, Jeffrey, National Mines, West Virginia Armature, and many other brands of equipment. The vision and motivation behind KET Inc. was to be the leading replacement parts supplier in Southwestern Virginia and South West Virginia by creating personal relationships with each customer and consistently providing needed parts at the lowest possible cost.
